Job summary

House Rx, Inc. is seeking an on-site Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinator in Fairfax, VA to help patients access and navigate specialty medications with support from clinicians and the House Rx team.

You will manage prior authorizations, financial assistance sourcing, claims processing, dispensing coordination, and patient inquiries, acting as liaison among patients, providers, and pharmacists in a startup-like culture with on-site clinic presence.

Qualifications

• Core pharmacy technician duties including dispensing and claims processing.
• Experience engaging with patients, providers, and care teams in person and by phone.
• Familiarity with specialty medications, benefits investigation, and financial assistance.
• Willingness to contribute to startup-style process improvements and workflow design.

Responsibilities

• Complete prior authorizations for patient care.
• Source financial assistance for patients.
• Process pharmacy claims accurately and timely.
• Coordinate dispensing and shipping of medications.
• Improve patient experience by answering questions and requests.
• Serve as liaison between patient, provider and pharmacist.
