Job summary

Moss is hiring a Solar Assistant Project Manager to assist the Project Manager in administrative and technical management of multi-state solar projects. You will help with contract administration, submittals, procurement, and scheduling while coordinating with owners and subcontractors.

The role requires travel to Florida, Arizona, Colorado, Arkansas, Georgia, and North Carolina; strong communication, ERP (CMIC) and finance skills are essential; Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of solar

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience as Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager in Solar Construction with a general contractor.
Strong computer skills and familiarity with construction PM applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with owners' representatives, A/E teams, and authorities.
ERP experience, CMIC is a plus; intermediate finance skills.

Responsibilities

Review design documents, identify key subcontractors, analyze labor markets, and develop bid packages and schedules.
Manage project financials, develop and maintain PFR, and manage LCR and change orders.
Set up project Schedule of Values, approve expenditures, process owner requisitions, and administer bonding/insurance.
Develop scopes of work, set up filing, CMIC/Iris integration, purchasing schedules, and QC program.
Coordinate with owners, vendors, and subcontractors; monitor permits and site operations; support closeout activities.
