Zusammenfassung

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 2) for a full-time, on-site role at a Tulia, TX site. You will perform testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on solar equipment, with safety as the top priority and clear documentation of work performed.

The role requires experience with electrical and mechanical systems, familiarity with monitoring platforms, and the ability to train junior technicians while staying current on safety trainings.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification and NFPA 70e safety training required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work safely with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with system monitoring tools such as Locus, QOS, Vitals or RTDB.
• Ability to create and manage tickets in the Sprocket system.
• Willingness to work on-call and at remote sites.

Aufgaben

• Perform solar equipment testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair with minimal supervision.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems on solar equipment and systems with minimal supervision.
• Operate service equipment safely and maintain required records.
• Provide on-call service at assigned solar facilities.
• Prepare accurate documentation and required reports of work performed.
• Create tickets from start to finish with time and materials tracked in Sprocket.
• Supervise and provide ongoing training for Solar Technician Level I employees.
