Carpet Tech is seeking a Social Media Content Creator in Lubbock to capture and share people, work, and services behind Carpet Tech and Bug Tech. You will join technicians on jobs, produce photos and videos, and turn content into social posts tailored to customer needs.

The role welcomes varying experience levels with a focus on creative vision, initiative, and willingness to learn, collaborating with the Director of Marketing for feedback and final approval.

Qualifications

• An eye for useful, engaging content and initiative to turn ideas into posts.
• Some photography, video editing, and graphic design ability; motivation to improve.
• Comfort behind and in front of the camera, with ease working with technicians and customers.
• Clear writing, attention to detail, and willingness to incorporate feedback.
• Organized, dependable follow-through and professional when visiting sites.
• Curiosity about services and eagerness to learn when different services apply.

Responsibilities

• Join technicians at job sites to photograph and film services, capturing before-and-after content and stories.
• Select homes, jobs, and services offering the best content opportunities in coordination with the team.
• Appear on camera and interview technicians/customers naturally.
• Edit videos using TikTok/Instagram editors or other tools; create brand-consistent graphics.
• Use AI as a design aid with training, maintaining brand consistency.
• Write captions, plan content, and schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Google Business Profiles.
• Monitor messages, flag questions needing help, and respond as directed.
• Support seasonal campaigns and events; assist planning/directing shoots with contractor videographer.
