Job summary

Smartech in New York City is seeking a hands-on Social Content Creator to build and grow the brand across social platforms from our NYC store. You’ll craft high‑volume, on‑brand content, manage publishing, community interactions, and performance — blending design, video, and copy with AI tools to move from brief to published asset quickly.

Working on-site, you’ll collaborate with Marketing and the CEO to turn campaigns into visuals and stories, staying current with platform trends and delivering

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.
• Strong portfolio across graphic design, photo/video, and copy.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools for content creation and optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and produce content for social media, email, website, and in-store screens
• Create and publish high volumes of brand-aligned original content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels
• Independently produce short‑form video, static posts, carousels, stories, and written content
• Write and edit short‑form copy for captions, posts, and campaign assets
• Adapt content across formats and channels (Instagram, TikTok, email, in-store, partner channels)
• Capture and create content in real time from the NYC store, events, and day‑to‑day brand moments
• Maintain a content calendar and a well‑organised asset library
