StratasCorp Technologies seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to join the on-site SOC in Pensacola, FL, supporting threat detection, incident response, and security engineering across the enterprise network. You will help maintain and improve the organization’s security posture and resilience.

The role requires configuring SIEM/IDS/IPS, mentoring junior analysts, coordinating with NOC, and contributing to strategic SOC operations while adhering to DoD IAT Level II requirements and an Active Secret

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, CS, informatics, information systems, or a related field.
• Active Secret clearance
• 5+ years of full-time professional cybersecurity engineering/operations experience.
• Security+ or DoD IAT Level II-aligned certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity operations, monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
• Ability to analyze security events, identify root causes, and recommend mitigations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Pensacola, Florida.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily SOC operations: monitoring, threat detection, incident analysis, and response.
• Identify, investigate, and analyze threats and suspicious network activity.
• Support incident investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the CEM/CM team during incidents, escalations, and high-priority events.
• Improve incident response procedures, monitoring capabilities, and workflows.
• Develop and maintain SIEM rules, correlation logic, alerts, and dashboards.
• Tune SIEM/IDS/IPS to reduce false positives and improve detection.
