Job summary

Bruegmann in Houston, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our Customer Service team. You will coordinate daily outbound shipments, manage documentation in our ERP, and keep customers informed from order through delivery and invoicing.

You will work with carriers and brokers to ensure on-time delivery, review packing data, generate BOLs and packing slips, and maintain accurate shipment records, costs, and POD. This role is on-site, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of shipping or logistics experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience with LTL, FTL, parcel and air cargo shipping; international experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Full-time, on-site role, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily shipping tasks, including shipment processing and documentation.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Review warehouse packing information for accuracy before shipment.
• Prepare shipping documents like BOLs, labels, packing slips.
• Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain shipment records and proof of delivery (POD).
• Enter and verify shipping costs for accurate billing.
• Manage daily reports to prevent past-due shipments.
• Escalate delays or risks to the appropriate parties.
• Coordinate with Order Coordinators, warehouse teams, and carriers.
• Ensure daily pickups completed before end of day.
• Handle international shipments requiring HS codes and compliance.
• Own and manage daily shipment-in-transit reports.
• Use reporting to improve shipment performance.
