Job summary

Hope the Mission is seeking a Client Services Monitor for an on-site interim position. You will support daily operations, maintain safety, uphold community standards, and help Interim Housing programs run smoothly.

The role requires consistent attendance, sound judgment, and compassionate engagement with participants experiencing homelessness. You will perform wellness checks, assist with intake and orientation, document activities, and respond to incidents using trauma-informed de-escalation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in homeless services, shelter operations or social service preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform wellness checks each shift to ensure participant safety.
• Monitor movement and site activity to promote safety and compliance.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) accurately and timely.
• Assist with intake, orientation, and explanation of site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies using de-escalation techniques.
