Job summary

Sharps Medical Waste Services is seeking a dedicated Sharps Technician to safely place, collect, and transport reusable sharps and medical waste containers across healthcare facilities in Texas. You will maintain service schedules, ensure compliant handling, and deliver excellent customer service to hospitals and medical staff.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 25–40 lbs frequently, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills in diverse healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Travel between and within assigned healthcare facilities to service reusable Sharp Medical Waste containers.
• Collect and transport pharmaceutical waste to designated areas.
• Maintain a strict service schedule and provide timely updates.
• Build strong customer relationships and resolve service concerns.
• Operate safely with compliant handling of medical waste.
