Job summary

KaylaTek is seeking a seasoned SharePoint Power Platform Developer and Administrator to support DoD infrastructure across AFNCR activities, including Pentagon-related sites, with on-site work at Joint Base Andrews and occasional telework.

You will build and maintain SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions, automate processes, and provide ITIL-aligned incident management while collaborating with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in applications programming and database management.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, business/finance, or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform tools.
• Proficiency in modern web development languages and frameworks (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, JSON, Bootstrap, jQuery).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, administration, and troubleshooting for SharePoint Online (SPO) and Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms.
• Develop and maintain custom SharePoint and Power Platform solutions using technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, JSON, Bootstrap, React JS, and VS Code.
• Design, develop, and manage Power Platform tools including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI dashboards/reporting solutions.
• Resolve Tier 1-3 incidents, service requests, and operational issues in accordance with SLA and ITIL processes.
• Administer SharePoint site collections including site creation, configuration, permissions, governance, content management, and decommissioning activities
• Manage SharePoint permissions, Active Directory-integrated access controls, and user/group memberships across multiple environments and high-level administrative functions across multiple environments;
• Design, modify and enhance SharePoint pages, layouts, branding, and user interfaces to support customer and mission requirements;
• Monitor SharePoint environment health, performance, usage, and availability to ensure operational stability.
• Analyze business applications and technical requirements to design and implement effective software solutions.
• Test, debug, refine, and document software solutions, improving efficiency and functionality.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members to help meet development timelines.
