Job summary

National Carwash Solutions (NCS) is seeking a Service Technician I to operate on-site, performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs on car wash equipment. You will learn core troubleshooting and maintenance procedures under direct supervision while adhering to safe work practices and documenting activities.

You will assist in parts replacement, calibration, and customer guidance, with emphasis on accurate reporting and maintaining up-to-date equipment knowledge.

Qualifications

• Fundamental preventive maintenance and minor repairs on car wash equipment.
• Learn core troubleshooting and maintenance procedures under supervision.
• Maintain safe work practices and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic service work on vehicle wash equipment and accessories, including troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems.
• Assist in replacing, repairing, or adjusting parts and systems as necessary.
• Inspect, calibrate, and check chemicals under supervision.
• Run equipment through cycles to ensure basic system functioning.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper function.
• Provide basic information to customers regarding operation and maintenance.
• Keep supervisor informed of problems or difficulties.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through training materials and service bulletins.
• Complete work orders, expense reports, and daily/weekly time logs.
• Comply with all service policies and procedures.
• Assist in advising customers on necessary service work and replacement of worn parts.
• Develop good rapport with customers and deliver positive service.
• Deliver parts or supplies to customers as needed.
• Assist in maintaining proper inventory of parts on service vehicles.
• Comply with OSHA, EPA, local laws, and safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
