Job description

Essential Responsibilities

• Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines.
• Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment).
• Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools).
• Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagrams.
• Experienced in troubleshooting and repairs of an engine.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Ability to travel including overnight travel.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Must be able to communicate via telephone & email.

Qualification Requirements

• Strong customer service mindset and strong skills to drive, support, Empower and inspire the Service teams and Customers +7 years’ experience in a technical role or extensive years of experience with issue resolution exposure within (Field-)Service on engines (ideally INNIO Jenbacher engines) Technical attitude, complemented by strong business acumen including basic IT skills.
• Willingness to work in shift model (depending) and on call.
• Experience working with electrical or mechanical systems.
• Fluency in English a must.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• G-91 Certification (Co-Gen Engines, Power Plant, Gas Utilities).

Job Specific Knowledge

• Able to work efficiently without direct supervision.

Preferred

• Multi-working experience with Jenbacher gas engines in the field, operational & commissioning, all engine types.
• Jenbacher training certifications: FTB, FTA, CT1, CT2, MR6.
• Mechanical RCA research and analysis exposure.
• Previous field experience a bonus.

Salary Range: $35/hr.
