Job summary

Grainger is hiring a part-time On-Site Service Specialist in the Dayton, OH area to support KeepStock inventory management and customer service during pre-implementation and installation phases.

The OSS will perform machine break/fix tasks, data collection, and customer training while engaging with diverse customer environments. Required: 3 years in customer service or warehouse, a High School diploma, and a valid driver’s license with insurance.

Qualifications

• This role requires 3 years of experience in customer service or warehouse environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical skills and experience solving problems are essential.
• Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs or work in difficult positions.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine break/fix activities for different machines at the customer's site.
• Implement territory work relating to customer inventory projects.
• Perform data collection at the customer's site to direct KeepStock implementation.
• Assist customers with staging, labeling and organizing product at a customer site.
• Cover PTO and have route-based responsibilities as needed.
• Complete product relocation and discontinuation process.
