Job summary

Anova Furnishings is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to be the sole on-site HR professional at our Winona, MN facility (75-80 employees). You’ll handle employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and policy compliance while partnering with site leadership.

You should bring a Bachelor's in HR or 4+ years of progressive HR experience (2+ years as Generalist); manufacturing or hourly workforce experience is preferred. Local employment law knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR or 4+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years as an HR Generalist
• Manufacturing or hourly workforce experience preferred
• Minnesota employment law knowledge; PHR/SHRM a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Serve as first point of contact for employee relations issues and coach supervisors on conflict resolution
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for the Winona facility, including an annual hiring plan
• Oversee onboarding to reduce turnover and set new hires up for success
• Coordinate performance management, coaching, goal setting, and GWC reviews
• Lead employee engagement, recognition and retention initiatives
• Coordinate benefits enrollment and payroll accuracy for the facility
• Build relationships with the Winona community through job fairs and events
• Track HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, vacancies and training hours
• Support safety coordinator by processing workers' compensation paperwork
• Protect personal and sensitive information and ensure compliance with laws
