Job summary

CyberCoders seeks an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead large infrastructure and site development projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budget, quality and safety while coordinating with owners, engineers, subcontractors and agencies.

The role demands expertise in earthworks, roadways, bridges and utilities, with strong leadership and proficiency in Primavera P6, Procore and BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in heavy civil construction with 5+ years in PM.
• DOT standards, EJCDC/AIA contract admin and public agency coordination.
• Experience with erosion/sediment control and stormwater management.
• Hands-on reinforced concrete, asphalt paving, pile driving and shoring.
• Project controls: Primavera P6/MS Project, HCSS/HeavyBid, Sage Estimating.
• Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM/Revit familiarity; QA/QC.
• Contract administration: RFIs, submittals, change orders, subs.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder mgmt; mentor field teams.
• PE/PMP/DBIA or construction safety certs preferred.
• Read/interpret plans, traffic control, geotech; risk mgmt.
• On-site with travel; field inspections/testing oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and execution of heavy civil projects including earthworks and utilities.
• Develop and manage CPM schedules; monitor with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Prepare budgets, cost forecasts; manage estimates, change orders, claims.
• Oversee subcontractor selection, procurement and vendor coordination.
• Implement Site Safety Plans and OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate permitting and DOT standards with agencies.
• Manage QA/QC programs, materials testing and as-built docs.
• Supervise shoring, formwork, rebar, concrete, paving and heavy equipment ops.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders; maintain project docs in Procore/Bluebeam.
• Perform risk management and value engineering.
• Coordinate geotech, drainage design, surveying activities.
• Provide on-site leadership for traffic control and temporary works.
• Ensure environmental compliance and erosion control.
• Mentor project teams; client communications; represent company at meetings.
