Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design and enhance enterprise web apps and APIs using Angular, Python, and C#/.NET. You will drive technical leadership across the lifecycle and help scale data platform initiatives in Google Cloud and Schwab’s cloud ecosystem.

You will mentor engineers, strengthen CI/CD, improve security, and promote resilient, production-ready solutions across distributed teams in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• 8+ years of professional software development experience using Angular, Python, and C#/.NET to build enterprise applications
• Demonstrated full-stack development experience designing REST APIs, layered service architectures, and responsive web applications
• Experience managing application ecosystems, including framework and runtime upgrades, dependency management, environment configuration, platform migrations, and technical-debt reduction
• Hands-on experience identifying and remediating application vulnerabilities, managing certificates, and protecting secrets and credentials
• Experience planning disaster recovery exercises and engineering resilient, highly available applications
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, or Jenkins
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational or cloud-based databases
• Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across the application lifecycle, strengthening CI/CD automation, application security, platform resilience, production readiness, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Cloud Operations, Security, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders while mentoring engineers and promoting reusable engineering practices.
• Partner with onshore and offshore teams to resolve complex issues and drive sustainable improvements.
