Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer in Texas to join a skilled engineering team. You will work with architects and product owners to design and implement web applications using ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, Angular, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based microservices.

This hybrid role (Austin or Southlake) requires 8+ years of experience, mentoring, design and code reviews, and active participation in roadmap discussions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full stack development experience.
• Experience with web apps using ASP.NET, Angular/AngularJS, JSON/XML, RESTful APIs.
• Proven .NET/.NET Core, C#, microservices architecture experience.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL/Oracle).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing and deployment pipelines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo).
• BS or higher in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define Agile stories with architects and business partners.
• Perform design reviews and code reviews.
• Provide technical direction and support to the team.
• Hands-on coding, unit testing, and production issue resolution.
• Lead design and implementation of new stories and bug fixes.
• Participate in product roadmap discussions and long-term planning.
• Develop tools and practices to increase team efficiency.
• Mentor junior staff and support career development.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, leads and architects.
