Job summary

Frontier-Kemper, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Contracts/Subcontract Administrator to join our Manhattan Tunnel Project in New York, NY. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will draft and manage contracts, monitor performance, and coordinate subcontracts to ensure compliance and timely changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in contract administration or change order management in construction.
• Experience on large heavy civil infrastructure projects with public sector clients is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and subcontract agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and amendments in compliance with project and company requirements.
• Monitor contract execution and compliance, addressing deviations or disputes.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with contract terms, schedules, and deliverables.
• Maintain organized contract documentation, records, and correspondence.
• Prepare reports on contract status, change orders, and subcontractor performance.
• Track and process contract changes, modifications, and variations.
• Analyze the cost, schedule, and legal impact of contract changes.
• Maintain a log of all contract changes and ensure timely approvals.
