Job summary

Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc. seeks a Contracts/Subcontract Administrator for our Manhattan Tunnel Project in New York, NY.

This on-site role focuses on reviewing, drafting, and managing contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance and timely change orders. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business and at least 3 years of subcontract administration experience on large heavy civil projects, with strong written and verbal communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business.
• 3+ years of contract administration or change order experience.
• Experience on large heavy civil infrastructure projects in dense urban environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and amendments in compliance with project and company requirements.
• Monitor contract execution and compliance, addressing deviations or disputes.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with contract terms, schedules, and deliverables.
• Maintain organized contract documentation, records, and correspondence.
• Prepare reports on contract status, change orders, and subcontractor performance.
• Track and process contract changes, modifications, and variations.
• Analyze the cost, schedule, and legal impact of contract changes.
• Maintain a log of all contract changes and ensure timely approvals.
