Job summary

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is seeking a Senior Accountant for an established small-to-mid-sized manufacturing company. This on-site role in New Milford, Connecticut involves overseeing accounting transactions, financial reporting, cost accounting, and maintaining accurate records in line with applicable standards.

The Senior Accountant will support month-end and year-end close and coordinate with US operations and UK ownership.

Qualifications

• Requires manufacturing accounting knowledge and cost accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with inventory valuation, fixed assets, and overhead rates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and accounting records for day-to-day activities.
• Review transactions and perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reporting and analyses.
• Support US operations and UK ownership reporting requirements.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation calculations.
• Assist with budgeting, variance analysis, and cost rolls.
