Job summary

First Coast Security Services is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead security operations at client sites in Glendale, AZ. You will oversee Security Officers, ensure post orders are executed, and serve as the main point of contact for site security on your shift.

This hands-on supervisory role requires active security duties, along with coaching, performance management, and ensuring high-quality service for clients. A valid license and security experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Valid and current state security officer license; license must remain active.
• Knowledge of security operations and supervisory practices.
• Ability to provide clear direction and motivate staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to complete incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide lead direction to Security Officers and Shift Lead Officers across assigned client site(s), ensuring post orders are followed.
• Perform all duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy.
• Monitor and report activities, incidents, and security concerns related to client property and personnel.
• Conduct scheduled site inspections and communicate tasks to subordinate staff.
• Assist with training of Security Officers and enforcement of post orders.
• Meet with client representatives to confirm security requirements.
• Submit incident reports, payroll information, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
• Coach, counsel, and document employee performance issues per policy; assist with hiring/termination decisions.
