Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Columbus, OH is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to assist the Security Shift Manager with day-to-day operations of the security department and to help train and supervise staff. The role requires flexibility for weekends and holidays and the ability to obtain required licensing.

Ideal candidates bring prior security or supervisory experience, read/write well, and can manage shift schedules and related duties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Prior Security, Military or Supervisor experience a plus.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods.
• May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain and maintain licensing.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Shift Manager in training, discipline and evaluation of security staff.
• Assist in planning security department needs and goals and the methodology to employ to ensure success.
• Run and maintain a scheduled shift of subordinates.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
