Job summary

Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC) seeks a construction project manager to coordinate moderately complex programs, ensuring alignment with NNSA requirements and Honeywell's standards. Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for external customers, maintaining schedules, budgets, risk management, and reporting on project performance.

Travel up to 5% and DOE security clearance are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years relevant work experience.
• A bachelors degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field, or 2 years of additional experience in construction project management.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
• United States Citizenship.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the frontline contact for external customers, addressing inquiries and nurturing rapport.
• Maintain records of project status, progress, and milestones; prepare reports on performance.
• Assist in developing and managing project schedules with stakeholders.
• Identify risks and mitigate challenges affecting project success.
• Oversee project budgets and expenses with finance.
• Maintain progress tracking and ensure seamless advancement.
• Foster teamwork and positive contributions within the group.
• Maintain clear communication among teams, stakeholders, contractors, and customers.
