Grant Associates is seeking an on-site Security Guard to maintain a safe and professional environment for employees and visitors in New York. The role involves responding to emergencies, monitoring facility activity, de-escalating conflicts, and assisting with front desk duties to ensure a welcoming reception.

The ideal candidate holds a valid security license, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of related experience.

Qualificações

• Valid security license is required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in security or related work.
• Proven ability to de-escalate conflicts calmly.

Responsabilidades

• Provide security services to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assist staff and clients.
• Address disruptive behavior using calm de-escalation techniques and remove individuals when needed.
• Coordinate with 911, law enforcement, and emergency responders during incidents.
• Escort unauthorized visitors to exits or designated areas.
• Conduct regular facility patrols and report safety concerns.
• Follow fire prevention and emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Assist with front desk coverage and visitor sign-ins as needed.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff and management.
• Maintain professionalism and sound judgment in high-stress situations.
