Job summary

E-Therapy in Lompoc, CA is hiring a School Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26/27 school year. This on-site, full-time position serves K-12 students with a start ASAP and compensation starting at $65/hour, commensurate with experience.

Candidate must hold a Master’s in SLP, CA license eligibility, and ASHA CCCs. CA cross-licensing support is available. You’ll perform assessments, develop therapy plans, provide direct services, and collaborate on IEPs to support student progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CA SLP license or eligibility and ASHA CCCs.
• Experience in school or pediatric settings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting articulation, phonology, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication goals in classroom settings.
• Incorporate evidence-based techniques and activities into sessions to promote development.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and relevant information accurately and timely.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech and language needs.
