Job summary

American Leadership Academy is seeking a Level I IT Specialist to provide on-site technology support at our Sierra Vista, AZ school. Candidates must have, or obtain, an AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card. Prior IT experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include handling staff IT requests, installing/repairing equipment, and training users on-site. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and strong customer service skills to support a safe, productive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card required or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in IT preferred but not required.
• Security and technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer and prioritize staff IT requests for hardware, software, networking, and other issues.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 with detailed reports.
• Install computers, software, and peripheral equipment.
• Repair computers, software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot phones, networks, projectors, doc cams and classroom tech.
• Support audio/visual equipment at school events.
• Train users on software and hardware on-site.
• Maintain work records and progress notes.
• Maintain proficiency in supported applications.
• Lift up to 50 pounds for hardware installations.
• Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
