Job summary

K&K Technical Group is seeking an experienced Schedule Manager to support manufacturing and construction projects at a major automotive facility in San Antonio, Texas. The role focuses on developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, coordinating with PMs, engineers, and field teams to ensure milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and managing detailed project schedules.
• Proficiency with MS Project.
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, project milestones, and scheduling dependencies.
• Ability to coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and field personnel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to identify scheduling risks and recommend corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed master project schedules from pre-construction through project completion using MS Project.
• Identify and monitor critical and near-critical activities to prevent project delays.
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress, including construction activities, field productivity, and milestone completion.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, contractors, and engineering teams to align schedules and project priorities.
• Develop accurate activity sequencing, predecessor/successor relationships, lead/lag times, and WBS.
• Conduct Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and evaluate scheduling impacts from scope changes, delays and change orders.
• Develop mitigation strategies and recovery schedules to address potential delays.
• Prepare project dashboards, Earned Value Management (EVM) reports, S-curves, and scheduling updates for leadership.
• Monitor labor, equipment, and material availability to support project execution.
• Coordinate short-term schedules, including three-week look-ahead plans, with field teams and contractors.
