Job summary

I2X Technologies is seeking an Operations Manager to support our customer’s satellite-ground operations in Fairbanks, Alaska. The role requires active Secret clearance and on-site work, with responsibilities spanning ground-station command, control, and data processing in a 24x7 environment.

The position emphasizes leadership, anomaly handling, and coordination of maintenance and scheduling, ensuring continuous mission readiness for multiple spacecraft.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years in satellite ground-station operations, telemetry, tracking and command, or related fields.
• 5+ years in supervisory or management roles directing satellite ground operations.
• 3+ years managing 24x7 shift operations, including scheduling and coverage.
• 3+ years coordinating satellite-pass schedules and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Manage continuous, around-the-clock operation of the FSOF control room and ensure qualified personnel support all spacecraft missions.
• Direct operation of ground-station systems for command, tracking, telemetry, data reception, and processing.
• Lead anomaly response and document actions, results, and resolution times.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and system testing across ground equipment.
• Ensure secure, classified operations with appropriate personnel coverage.
