Job summary

I2X Technologies seeks an Information Systems Security Officer to support our government customer in Fairbanks, Alaska. The role focuses on information-security governance, system authorization, and continuous monitoring for satellite networks and critical infrastructure.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, a CISSP or equivalent, and 8+ years in information security. Active Secret clearance is required for on-site work in Alaska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CISSP or equivalent certification required.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity-related experience.
• 5+ years supporting federal or regulated IT systems.
• 3+ years as ISSO or similar.
• 3+ years creating SSPs, POA&Ms and security artifacts.
• 3+ years using governance, risk, compliance systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal information-security advisor to System Owner for assigned networks and systems.
• Develop and enforce compliance with federal and organizational security requirements.
• Coordinate creation and maintenance of System Security Plans and supporting documents.
• Maintain the security authorization package in CSAM and related systems.
• Develop and report plans of action, milestones, and vulnerability status.
• Plan, execute, and document continuous monitoring and vulnerability scans.
• Manage day-to-day security operations and policies.
• Coordinate secure configuration and testing for satellite operations.
• Assist with security incident investigations and coordination with agencies.
