Job summary

On Grid Infrastructure Services is seeking an experienced Contract Maintenance Planner to support maintenance operations at a manufacturing facility in Memphis, Tennessee. This role plans, schedules, and coordinates preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Scheduler, or Maintenance Coordinator in an industrial manufacturing facility.
• Hands-on SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) experience is required.
• Experience planning mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or rotating equipment maintenance.
• Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work using SAP PM.
• Review maintenance work requests and develop detailed job plans, including labor estimates, required materials, tools, permits, and equipment.
• Build and maintain weekly maintenance schedules in coordination with Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability teams.
• Create and manage work orders, task lists, maintenance plans, and equipment history within SAP.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure materials and spare parts are available before scheduled work begins.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency, reduce backlog, and increase schedule compliance.
• Participate in daily planning meetings, weekly scheduling meetings, and outage planning sessions.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with plant safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company standards.
• Support turnaround planning and execution as required.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs including schedule compliance, backlog, wrench time, PM completion, and work order cycle time.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment documentation.
