Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA standards and best practices for industrial or food processing environments.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, incidents investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and influence safe behaviors.
• Experience in poultry processing or food manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety across poultry processing operations to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; lead incident investigations.
• Lead safety trainings and toolbox talks; maintain records and documentation.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and HR to promote safety culture.
• Support emergency response procedures and monitor safety metrics.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to worker safety.
