Job summary

SupplyOne seeks a Safety Manager to lead workplace safety programs on the production floor at a MA corrugated packaging facility. You will partner with plant leadership, supervisors, HR, and employees to identify risks, ensure OSHA compliance, and drive a proactive safety culture with coaching and training.

This hands-on role emphasizes investigations, OSHA recordkeeping, and collaboration with Operations/Maintenance on guarding and LOTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive safety experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience owning or leading site safety programs preferred.
• Experience in corrugated packaging, paper, converting, or related environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve site safety and environmental policies, programs, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, state/local regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain presence on the production floor with inspections, observations, audits, and job hazard analyses.
• Lead investigations of incidents, injuries, near-misses, and property damage with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Own OSHA recordkeeping and safety documentation (injury/illness logs, training records, inspections).
• Develop and deliver safety orientation and ongoing training for employees and contractors.
• Partner with Operations/Maintenance on machine guarding, LOTO, and other high-risk programs.
• Support change-management and pre-startup safety reviews for new equipment/processes.
• Track leading/lagging indicators; propose actions to reduce risk and improve performance.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation activities and return-to-work processes.
• Lead emergency response planning, drills, and liaison with local responders.
