Zusammenfassung

Kent Companies is seeking a Safety Coordinator for an on-site role to promote a proactive safety culture across project sites. You will support Operations Managers and Superintendents to implement safety programs ensuring injuries, property damage, or near misses are addressed promptly and effectively.

You will lead investigations, conduct toolbox talks, perform site inspections, enforce PPE usage, and manage required safety training and план renewals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Environmental Safety & Health or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant construction safety experience (concrete industry preferred).
• OSHA 510, OSHA 30, CSMC or Construction Safety Site Technician Certification (or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job locations.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and update safety rules and SOPs and communicate changes to field teams.
• Lead and participate in safety events, stand-downs, and trainings.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses with field personnel to address hazards.
• Implement Toolbox Talks and develop talks based on incidents.
• Perform site inspections/audits and report to project teams and safety management.
• Assist in Return-to-Work program with medical follow-ups and drug screening compliance.
• Execute PPE program and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Schedule retraining and renewals; develop and enforce Site-Specific Safety Plans.
• Serve as safety resource to superintendents, foremen, and crew leaders.
