Job summary

Kent Companies is seeking a Safety Coordinator to promote an incident-free environment across all project sites. You will collaborate with Operations Managers to implement safety programs, coordinate resources, and drive compliance across divisions.

The role requires a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in environmental safety and health or 3–5 years in construction safety, OSHA 500 or equivalent certification, and bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in environmental safety & health.
• OSHA 500 or equivalent safety certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update safety rules and SOPs.
• Lead safety events, stand-downs, and trainings.
• Review investigations and address root causes.
• Implement Toolbox Talks program.
• Perform and document site inspections and abatement.
• Support workers’ compensation and auto/property claims.
• Enforce PPE program and ensure training is up to date.
• Holds site-specific safety plan meetings and reviews.
• Serve as resource for field safety officers.
