Chenega Security SBU is seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to lead on-site safety, compliance, and performance. This role oversees the Safety and Health Program, ensures APP adherence, and collaborates with management, employees, subcontractors, and customer representatives to proactively identify hazards and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in facilities operations, facilities management, construction, engineering, industrial services, or related industry.
• Five+ years managing construction projects, safety programs, hazard analyses, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Construction safety experience (5+ years) or 3+ years with CSP or related degree.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Course completed.
• CQM for Contractors course completed.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, USACE EM 385-1-1, and related safety regs.

Responsabilités

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of site safety and health programs to meet contractual, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as subject matter expert on occupational safety, maintaining current regulatory knowledge including OSHA and USACE standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Accident Prevention Plans (APPs) and Site Safety Plans (SSPs).
• Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with root cause analysis.
• Prepare clear safety reports and coordinate with management, customers, and stakeholders.
