The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) at Chugach Government Solutions is based onsite in Harmon, Guam. You will develop, implement, and maintain a safety program aligned with regulatory systems, contract strategies, and company policies to foster a strong safety culture and mitigate risk on the site.

Core duties include conducting safety audits, investigating accidents, and coordinating corrective actions; performing safety surveys for PPE and environmental controls; and maintaining site

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in safety program management.
• Knowledge of Government contracting terminology and requirements.
• Knowledge of pertinent safety regulations and requirements for site obligations.
• Knowledge and experience in accident investigations and reporting principles.
• Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the DBIDS.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement safety procedures and Safety Plan as needed.
• Perform safety audits, investigate accidents and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Conduct safety surveys (noise, air monitoring, PPE) to support PPE policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain site safety programs (Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, PPE, Hearing Conservation, Fire Prevention, Accident Investigation, Electrical Safety, General Procedures).
• Prep site AHA reports, ensure other reports and permits are IAW policy and SOW.
• Performs other related work as assigned.
