Job summary

Destro AI is seeking a hands-on, on-site Field Technician to support a live facility in Allentown, PA. You will deploy, commission, and maintain robotic systems on the warehouse floor.

You will work with operations, engineering, and IT, resolve real-time issues during peak hours, and train warehouse associates who operate alongside our robots.

This role requires staying safety-first with high ownership and clear on-site communication as deployments scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on robotics or automation experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• On-site, customer-facing role in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and commission on-site robotic systems including setup and network configuration.
• Test, validate, and monitor robot performance against criteria before go-live.
• Respond to and resolve robotic exceptions in real time during peak hours.
• Train warehouse staff and develop SOPs and reference guides.
• Serve as on-site technical point of contact for operations, engineering, and IT.
• Escalate unresolved issues to engineering with detailed logs and site context.
