Job summary

Destro AI is seeking a on-site Field Technician to support robotic deployments at a Sumner, WA facility. You will install, commission, test, and maintain robot fleets, ensuring safe, efficient operation and minimal downtime.

You’ll train warehouse staff, document SOPs, and serve as the on-site liaison for engineering, resolving issues promptly during night shifts and helping scale deployments as the program expands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on robotics or electromechanical systems experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting instincts.
• Comfortable working independently on a night shift in a live facility.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and commission robotic systems on-site at the Sumner facility.
• Conduct testing, validation, and acceptance criteria before go-live.
• Monitor fleets and handle real-time exceptions to maintain throughput.
• Perform preventive maintenance and manage spare parts inventory.
• Train warehouse staff to safely work with robots and update SOPs.
• Escalate issues to engineering with full diagnostics and site context.
