Job summary

Destro AI is deploying its robotics software in live warehouse environments, collaborating directly with customer operations and IT teams to validate the stack and ensure reliable performance.

As a field deployment engineer, you will own incidents end-to-end, including off-hours goes-lives, and work to improve uptime and throughput across deployed systems while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years in systems engineering, robotics software, backend engineering, infrastructure, or field engineering.
• Comfortable being paged off-hours and traveling on short notice.
• Independent in ambiguous, high-pressure environments.
• Calm under pressure with strong ownership and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Field deployment: deploy and validate software in live warehouses with customer teams.
• Own production issues end-to-end during launch and stabilization, including off-hours incidents.
• Improve uptime, throughput, and reliability of deployed systems.
