CDM Smith is seeking an on-site Field Inspector to support multiple project locations across the United States. The role involves inspecting traffic control, environmental controls, layout, construction methods and materials under supervision.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; travel 20%–40% is expected. Prior inspection experience is beneficial, with opportunities to develop in a collaborative, field‑based environment.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Perform inspections of traffic control, environmental controls, layout, construction methods and materials under direct supervision.
• Review and determine acceptance or rejection of daily contractor reports and QC procedures.
• Review material testing procedures and results for conformance; measure quantities.
• May perform sampling and in-place testing of soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt.
