Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking an Installation and Service Technician to support retail environments by installing and repairing Inventory Control and Video equipment. You will handle service calls, maintain records, and train customers on equipment use.

Qualifications include EL 06 License, electronics and networking knowledge, strong communication skills, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Experience with IP cameras and DVR/NVR systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Possession of an EL 06 License.
• Proficiency in electronics and networking fundamentals.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in challenging positions.
• Experience installing or servicing IP cameras and DVR/NVR systems.
• Networking certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Inventory Control and Video equipment in retail environments.
• Respond to service calls efficiently and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Work directly with customers and team members to resolve issues promptly and provide equipment training.
• Maintain an accurate parts inventory to support first-time fixes and efficient service delivery.
• Report customer satisfaction updates and any service or sales opportunities identified during visits to management.
• Support safe, effective field work while representing Johnson Controls professionally at customer sites.
