Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Installation and Service Technician to support retail environments by installing and repairing Inventory Control and Video equipment, focusing on safe, reliable service and positive customer outcomes.

You will own installations and repairs, respond to service calls, train customers on equipment, and maintain accurate records. This role offers growth within a global leader in smart buildings and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Possession of an EL 06 License.
• Proficiency in electronics and networking fundamentals.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Physical ability to carry and move equipment up to 70 lbs and work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders or working within ducts.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Inventory Control and Video equipment in retail environments.
• Respond to service calls efficiently and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Work directly with customers and team members to resolve issues promptly and provide equipment training.
• Maintain an accurate parts inventory to support first-time fixes and efficient service delivery.
• Report customer satisfaction updates and any service or sales opportunities identified during visits to management.
• Support safe, effective field work while representing Johnson Controls professionally at customer sites.
