Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance, including basic mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Ability to perform Maintenance & Repair tasks in residential or industrial settings, including plumbing, HVAC, and appliance work.
• Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Background in Industrial Maintenance or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
• Working knowledge of safety practices, building codes, and use of hand and power tools.
• Strong time management, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to participate in an on‑call rotation for emergencies as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on building systems, apartments, and common areas.
• Complete resident service requests and unit turns.
• Conduct inspections and support preventive maintenance programs.
• Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Monitor equipment performance, respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Help maintain clean, orderly grounds and facilities.
