Job summary

Penobscot Management, LLC is seeking a part-time Maintenance Tech Assistant for our smoke-free, luxury apartment community in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. You will join a team that values leadership, ownership, and the ability to complete tasks without micromanagement.

Responsibilities include grounds cleanup, trash-out at vacated apartments, assist with make-ready, snow removal, and other duties as assigned; a high school diploma and handyman skills are required; retirement benefits and paid time

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Handyman experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Physically walks the property on a frequent basis and removes litter, debris and pet droppings from the grounds.
• Performs “trash-out” duties at vacated apartments, which includes removing all abandoned furniture, trash and boxes.
• Assists with “make-ready” duties when requested by the manager or maintenance supervisor.
• Snow removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
