New York Air Brake LLC is seeking a hands-on technician for on-site work in Riverside, MO. The role involves disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of locomotive valves and brake pistons, using standard shop tools and equipment.

You will operate various washing and buffering machines while adhering to safety and quality rules. The position starts on 1st shift with training and transitions to 2nd shift with a $1.00 per hour differential.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Basic disassembly and washing of freight or locomotive valves or brake pistons.
• Operation of semi-automatic equipment such as pedestal buffers, hand buffers, wash machines, ultrasonic washers.
• Handle valves, parts, tools in a safe manner.
• Proper use of power and manual tools (impact wrenches, drills, EZ Outs, hand tools).
• Understand and comply with quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies and procedures.
