Job summary

Carvana in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join the Operations Talent Acquisition team. You’ll support high-volume entry-level hiring across several operations groups and partner with hiring managers to move candidates through the process.

You’ll verify skills, initiate background checks and DOT/MVR, and ensure a smooth candidate experience from outreach to start date. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1+ years of administrative experience OR a degree in Human Resources.
• Great interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to operate with urgency in a fast-paced / high-volume environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Talent Acquisition or high-volume customer contact experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume, frequent candidate contact for entry-level positions within one or more of Carvana’s Operations teams.
• Interact with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
• Speak to requirements and responsibilities of open roles and Carvana culture.
• Verify candidates’ possession of basic/required skills for applicable roles.
• Ensure pre-hire processes (background check, DOT/MVR) are initiated and facilitated.
• Manage and maintain a positive candidate experience through the start date.
• Meet or exceed hiring metrics/KPIs designated for the Coordinator role.
