Job summary

Baxter Auto is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator to support on-site, store-based recruiting for multiple Baxter Auto locations in the Kansas City market.

You will manage sourcing, application review, interview coordination, offers, onboarding and pre-employment activities, partnering with store leadership and the Talent Acquisition team to build strong candidate pipelines and relationships within the community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to coordinate and lead through conflicting priorities simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management, detail oriented, organizational, problem-solving abilities.
• Strong ability to engage and inspire candidates to pursue opportunities with the organization.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and candidate information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute hiring to meet current and future staffing needs across assigned stores.
• Partner with hiring managers to review resumes and applications.
• Manage all interview logistics, including scheduling, communication, and follow-up.
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, new hire training, and store orientation.
• Manage job postings and closings across platforms (HRIS, Indeed, Handshake) and audit requisitions for accuracy.
• Coordinate offer letters, I-9 documentation, and other pre-employment documents ensuring compliance.
• In partnership with Talent Acquisition, conduct outreach to build community partnerships and attend events.
• Build partnerships with HR and Talent Acquisition to leverage shared resources and best practices.
• Participate on calls with Talent Acquisition and other Recruiting Coordinators to share learnings.
• Maintain professionalism as a brand ambassador for stores and Baxter Auto.
• Maintain regular attendance and travel between stores and events within the market.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
