Jobot is seeking an experienced Controller for our Omaha, NE portfolio. This on-site, permanent role leads the accounting function for self-managed properties and corporate entities, with direct access to ownership and a fixed monthly close calendar.

The ideal candidate brings a strong property accounting background, hands-on month-end close expertise in Yardi, and the ability to supervise the accounting team while coordinating with external CPAs on year-end tax work. Competitive benefits.

Formación

• Experience as a real estate controller with strong property accounting.
• Proven ability to manage month-end closes and financial reporting.
• Lead accounting teams and coordinate with external CPA firms.
• Knowledge of Yardi or similar property management software.

Responsabilidades

• Complete the month-end close for self-managed properties and corporate entities in Yardi on a fixed calendar.
• Record journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly financial packages for ownership.
• Review bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and cash activity.
• Prepare construction draw packages and lender reporting.
• Coordinate year-end tax work with outside CPA firm and support distributions.
• Oversee the accounting team and maintain accounting policies and controls.
