Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an On-Site Subscriber Programming & Preventative Maintenance Specialist based in South Florida. You will service customer locations in the Miami-Dade area, performing routine maintenance, configuring radios, and creating code-plugs using cloud tools.

You must reside in Southern Florida, be a U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance, and have ETA certification within 6 months. Travel is minor and most work is local with an occasional out-of-area training.

Qualifications

• ETA certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain security clearance.
• Valid driver's license with no violations.
• CompTIA Network+ and/or CCNA or equivalent preferred.
• CJIS Security Policy background check required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Motorola APX Next and APX6500/8500 subscribers for optimal performance.
• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance with performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with customers to develop and implement custom programming and radio code-plugs.
• Program and provision subscriber radios using cloud-based tools (RadioCentral, CommandCentral Mapping, CommandCentral Messaging, SmartConnect).
• Update subscriber information in the ASTRO Core Provisioning Manager.
• Perform basic hardware troubleshooting without opening devices.
• Support Sierra Wireless XR80 modems via configuration updates and swaps with customer spares.
