Job summary

Martin Concrete Construction is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to oversee quality and compliance on our concrete projects nationwide. This on-site role requires travel to project locations across the U.S., collaborating with project teams to ensure safety, quality, and timely inspections.

You’ll review drawings, inspect materials, and document QA records while upholding our ESOP-driven culture and strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily field inspections to ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout the project.
• Review construction documents such as blueprints to identify and address conflicts or discrepancies.
• Ensure subcontractors and vendors adhere to current drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Inspect materials and equipment deliveries for compliance with project standards.
• Perform pre-work, initial, follow-up, and final inspections to confirm compliance with contract requirements.
• Document and maintain comprehensive inspection records, including deficiency tracking and quality control reports.
• Actively participate in quality assurance meetings, including pre-pour, pre-final, and punch list inspections.
• Partner with the Quality Control Manager, project management, and field operations to align inspection schedules with project timelines.
• Uphold strict safety standards by ensuring the availability and understanding of Job Hazard Analyses, Safety Data Sheets, and site‑specific safety plans.
• Foster strong professional relationships with clients, contractors, and team members by maintaining open, respectful communication.
